Who are some guys who have brought their game up a level and that you think will surprise people with how good they are this year?
A couple of my picks: Josh Glendening of Notre Dame (3A right?), Hagen Heistand of Logan-Magnolia seems to be off to a great start after winning PSN and if the trajectory stays inclined with Domick Ridout, I see him building upon his great season last year… who you guessing?

Jonah Clark WACO 1A, 2 time state qualifier. Took some time off wrestling, should be back at 220 or Hwt

Josh Glendening is at New London. And Notre Dame is 2A. Lol I make that mistake all the time and I don’t know why… there’s nothing remotely similar between the two schools. Lol thanks for catching that!

Josh Glendening is at New London. And Notre Dame is 2A. I think I’ve started associating all DC kids with Notre Dame lately.

Not an individual but a team. SBL. I think if things fall into place they will be right there fighting for a top 3. T Koedam looked like he has made some nice gains in the off-season at IA wrestles NOC. Z Ernst should be in the fight for top of the podium. B Koedam is a freshman and will be an instant contributor. N Parmalee has had a string of bad luck injuries the last few years so I hope we can see what he does when healthy. Several more who’ll find their way to Des Moines.

SEP Freshman Carter Pearson, 7-3 over the #1 rated wrestler in his first high school match. Pretty decent start.

Wyatt Stewart of Albia. 106. He is in his Jr season has been stuck behind Carter anderson for 2 years. Won corncob over the summer and went undefeated in the 9/10 Aau national duals. Also took down the 6th ranked 1a wrestler in fairly dominate fashion in Pekin this Saturday.

Those are the breaks though.
